Patricia Rotondaro was born in Buenos Aires, Argentine. She began her ballet studies at the age 6. Later on she studied Graham and Muller technique; clown, acting and singing.
In 1996 she travelled to Essen, Germany to follow a year of studies at the Folkwang Hochschule. In 1999 she moved to Holland, where she got a Bachelor in dance and choreography at the SNDO, (School for New Dance Development). Before finishing her studies she started to dance professionally for the company ?Meekers? in Rotterdam.
In 2005 Patricia moved to Switzerland due to a contract as a dancer with the Luzerner Theatre. She was part of the Luzerner ensemble until 2007. Since then she is working as a freelancer dancer with Company Mafalda in Zuerich, has followed the SIWIC under the direction of Susanne Linke (2007), Jochen Heckmann (2008), and Philippe Saire (2009). She has been selected for the Dance Film ?Das Blumenzimmer? directed by Sarah Derendinger and commissioned by the Swiss Television.
